Although Kittie was never on the Late Show with David Letterman, here’s their first live performance on any talk show with Conan O’Brian back in February 2000.

The last minute booking had the quartet flying out of Phoenix Arizona in the middle of the night to make the New York City appearance.Vocalist/Guitarist Morgan Lander is very excited about the band’s opportunity to debut on late-night television. “I think it’s pretty amazing. This will get our name out there,” she said while waiting in the front lobby of the Marriott Marquis in Times Square for a cab that will take the band to sound check. “We needed to get some sleep before we sound checked,” Morgan quipped. The booking for the O’Brien show possibly came about after the band taped another late night program, Later, which has yet to air. “I think someone from Conan saw the tape and decided they wanted us on their show,” Morgan remarked.
